What is OC Select?
OC Select is a new membership program for Odessa College students that provides priority services and financial incentives to eligible students who commit to completing their educational goals at OC.
What benefits do I receive from OC Select?
- Tuition Discount – 5% tuition and fees discount for every semester a student is opted in and maintains eligibility.
- Completion Bonus – eligible students can earn up to $500 for completing credentials at Odessa College.
- $100 upon completion of a Level 2 Certificate or Core Complete Certificate
- $200 upon completion of an Associate Degree
- $200 upon completion of a Bachelor’s Degree
- Priority Registration – eligible students will be automatically registered for their classes prior to the registration window opening for all students.
- Priority Financial Aid – eligible students’ financial aid applications will be reviewed and awarded prior to financial aid awarding begins for all students.

Who is eligible for OC Select?
To be eligible for OC select, students must meet the following requirements:
- Be enrolled in six semester credit hours
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress (2.0 GPA or higher)
- Agree to the student commitments for the program
- Complete the Kuder Journey career assessment
What are the student commitments?
- Commit to an academic goal or completion plan (e.g. have a declared major or degree plan)
- Commit to continuous automatic enrollment based on degree plan
- Commit to program communication practices (e.g. text messaging, social media, phone calls, etc.)
- Commit to making financial arrangements prior to deadline for future terms
