Retesting

The candidate will be eligible to attempt a total of (4) tests during a one-year approval period (initial test plus up to three (3) retests). Only eligible tests for that individual will be available for them to take. The CBT application will not allow an individual access to a licensing test if he/she is not eligible to retest.

Candidates can retake the test once right away, without leaving the facility, if they fail the first time. However, for any further attempts, they must come back on a different day. IF the candidate indicates they want to take advantage of this option, the center should schedule enough time for the immediate retest. Candidates will NOT be charged a 2nd proctoring fee if they choose to retest the same day. If the candidate chooses this option, they are instructed to contact the test proctor. A candidate may not attempt a test more than twice on the same day.
