MOST Award Honors Odessa College Instructor’s Impact on Science Education
Representatives from Odessa College and the college’s geology department joined West Texas Geology Foundation (WTGF) board member Emily Emerald to honor Hardt with a $5,000 award and the prestigious Most Outstanding Science Teacher (MOST) award. WTGF also presented Odessa College with a plaque in recognition of its support of Hardt’s work and commitment to science education.

The Globe Film Festival is set to return to The Globe Theatre on January 30 and 31, 2026, and organizers are now seeking submissions of original short films. The festival invites filmmakers of all experience levels to showcase creative stories that reflect the spirit, people, places, and culture of West Texas.
