Fall Workshop When: September 16-18, 2026 Where: Odessa College - Odessa, Texas Registration: The Institute’s registration fee for a college or university (Up to 10 attendees) is $5,000, payable to Odessa College on or before September 15, 2026. Net proceeds will go into the Wrangler Promise Scholarship Fund. Early Bird Rate: $4,500 until 8/15/26 Regular Rate: $5,000 from 8/16/26 through 9/15/26. To get the greatest benefit out of our Institute it is strongly recommended that participants are decision-makers—including the college president—from at least two or more of the following areas: Administration, Instruction, Student Services, and Institutional Effectiveness.
About the Odessa College Leadership Institute
As one of the most highly awarded institutions of higher education in the nation, Odessa College has received numerous requests from colleges and universities seeking to learn more about the programs, strategies, and techniques that have generated such well-documented levels of student success. In response to the steadily growing volume of these requests, we have developed a three-day interactive, instructional, and informational Leadership Institute.
During the seventh annual Odessa College Leadership Institute, administrators, faculty, and staff will immerse conference attendees in the OC experience and its student-focused culture, with the ultimate goal of enabling them to take back practices and strategies to impact rapid change on their own campuses.
The Leadership Institute evolved, in part, from the encouragement of education leaders both nationally and in Texas to share our story. We are also indebted to the many colleges in several states that have already adopted or begun to adopt our high impact strategies and found measurable improvement in student success.

Key Logistics and Frequently Asked Questions

LOCATION: All Institute activities will be held on the Odessa College campus located at 201 W. University Blvd., Odessa, TX, 79764. Specific rooms including for the reception and dinner on Wednesday evening will be designated at a later date.
AGENDA: Agenda will be shared in August 2026.
AIRPORT: Midland International Air and Space Port (MAF). The airport is about 10 miles from the campus.
TRANSPORTATION: Taxis and Uber are available but not as plentiful as in bigger cities. Visitors usually find car rental a more reliable option. It is best to reserve at least two weeks in advance. There will be designated on-campus parking available for all participants and instructions on specific locations will be provided at a later date.
HOTEL: You are welcome to stay at any hotel in Odessa. The Hotel below has an Odessa College

Reservations for the Odessa College Leadership Institute are available to be booked
at the group rate for stays from September 16, 2026 - September 19, 2026.
You must cancel your reservation 72 hrs prior to the day of arrival to avoid the penalty of one-night room and tax charged to your credit card.

RECOMMENDED PARTICIPANTS: To get the greatest benefit out of our Institute it is strongly recommended that
participants are decision-makers—including the college president—from at least two
or more of the following areas: Administration, Instruction, Student Services, and
Institutional Effectiveness. We can readily accommodate 8 to 10 individuals per institution,
additional attendees beyond 10 will incur a fee.
