The Office of Institutional Effectiveness, in partnership with the Office of Information Systems, is dedicated to serving the data needs of Odessa College. We assist administrators, faculty, and staff by providing institutional data for business purposes. Employees are welcome to submit data requests using the link below. Please use this form also for your economic data requests. To help expedite your request, please consider the following:
- What is the business purpose of your data request?
- Consider what your goal is and what decision-making it will facilitate.
- What actions will you take with the data once received?
- Who will benefit? What exactly do you want to find out?
- What outcome from the analysis you would deem a success?
Once you submit your request, you will receive an email confirmation. As needed, a member of the data team will contact you with follow-up questions and/or to request additional information needed to fulfill your request. Our turnaround depends on the complexity and scope of the request (sometimes it will be necessary to create a custom report). Please submit your request at least 5 to 7 business days in advance. We will do our best to complete your request by the deadline specified in the Data Request Form.
Data Pro Tip: Your Data will not speak unless you ask it the right data analysis questions.
