The Resident Assistant (RA) position is integral to Residence Life. Staff members have direct and constant contact with residents, and play several roles and responsibilities. The RA will be assigned to a residence hall floor with approximately 30-50 students.
The RA primarily serves in an on-call rotation on weekdays and weekends. They are responsible for answering the phone when it is after hours.
The RAs act as facilitators for this residence hall community and enhance the holistic development of each of their residents. The RA will articulate to students the philosophy and policies of Residence Life and the College.
The RA and represent Student Life and should act as a role model for students.
