Odessa College is inviting all incoming students to attend New Student Orientation sessions this summer as they prepare to begin their college journey. Orientation is free and mandatory for all students starting their first semester at Odessa College.
Designed to help students transition successfully into college life, orientation provides valuable information about campus resources, student support services, academic expectations, and opportunities to connect with fellow Wranglers before the first day of classes. Students will also receive their class schedules and learn important steps to ensure they are ready for the semester ahead.
Summer 2026 New Student Orientation dates include:
- Tuesday, June 9 | 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. | All Students
- Thursday, June 25 | 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. | Wrangler Promise Students
- Wednesday, July 15 | 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. | All Students
- Thursday, July 30 | 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. | Wrangler Promise Students

“Orientation is one of the most important first steps students can take as they begin their college experience,” said Amanda Nardo, New Student Orientation Coordinator at Odessa College. “Our goal is to make every student feel welcomed, informed, and confident before classes begin. We want students to know they already have a community here that is ready to support them every step of the way.”
During orientation, students will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about campus resources and student services
- Meet faculty and staff
- Connect with other incoming students
- Receive their class schedule
- Prepare for their first day of classes
Students are encouraged to register for a session as soon as possible to secure their preferred date.
