Odessa, TX – Odessa College invites new and returning students, families, and community members to kick off the new school year with Preview Days and high-energy Back to School Bash events at the main Odessa campus and extension campuses in Pecos and Andrews. The Monahans Extension Center will hold its Back to School Bash at the Monahans Event Center. These events are set to take place in late July and early August, offering a fun, informative, and welcoming start to the fall semester.
Preview Days and Back to School Bash events give prospective and enrolled students a sneak peek into what OC has to offer. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with advisors and faculty, learn about financial aid, register for fall classes, and explore student support services. Each location will host its own event, ensuring that every student, no matter where they’re from, has access to the resources they need to start strong.
Each event will feature free food, giveaways, family-friendly activities, and OC booths showcasing our amazing departments while giving attendees the chance to connect with fellow students, faculty, and staff in a fun, relaxed environment.
At the Odessa Main Campus Preview Day on August 6, the first 500 attendees will receive a free clear backpack, and guests can enter a raffle to win one of two Omni books. In addition, the evening will wrap up with an exciting Talent Show from 8 PM to 9 PM, featuring a dynamic lineup of performers including former students and local community members.
