Odessa, TX — Odessa College, in partnership with the Ector County Health Department, will host a free Meningitis Vaccine Clinic on Wednesday, August 7, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. The clinic will be held in the Private Dining Room (Room 128) of the Saulsbury Campus Center on the OC campus.

This important health initiative ensures students are protected against meningitis—a potentially serious illness that can spread easily in communal living environments such as college dorms.

The clinic is open to the public and offers free vaccinations for all eligible participants:

  • Ages 17 & under: A parent or guardian signature is required.
  • Ages 18 & over: Bring your shot records to receive the vaccine.
  • Missing documentation? Don’t worry—vouchers will be available.

"Taking care of your health is a crucial step toward success in college," said Amanda Nardo, New Student Orientation Coordinator at Odessa College. "We want every Wrangler to have a safe and healthy start to the semester."

This clinic helps meet state immunization requirements for college enrollment and offers a convenient, no-cost opportunity for new and returning students to get vaccinated before classes begin.
