Odessa, TX — Odessa College is proud to announce its participation in the NC3 National Career & Technical Education (CTE) Letter of Intent Signing Day on Wednesday, April 9. The College will hold a signing celebration at 2 p.m. in the OC Sports Center and the media is invited.

This nationwide event celebrates students committing to technical education pathways with the same enthusiasm and recognition as traditional athletic signings.

Hosted by the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3), Signing Day honors students who are making the commitment to pursue technical education programs that will lead to high-demand, high-skill careers in industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, IT, and more.

“Signing Day is about celebrating students and showing them that they’re making a powerful, future-focused decision,” said Dr. Tiffani Price, Associate Vice President of Instruction for Curriculum and Workforce Education at Odessa College. “It’s also a chance to highlight the incredible opportunities available through Career and Workforce Education and how these pathways fuel our local workforce and economy.”

Odessa College will host the campus ceremony where incoming students will sign letters of intent. The students’ families, community leaders, and industry partners are also invited to attend and support these future Wranglers.

The event will be livestreamed as part of NC3’s national celebration, which includes over 100 colleges and institutions across the U.S.

“We want students to know that Career and Workforce Education isn’t a backup plan — it’s a launchpad to a successful, rewarding future,” Dr. Price added. To learn more about NC3 National Signing Day, visit https://nc3.net/signingday
