ODESSA, TX — The Odessa College Concert Band invites the community to attend its final performance of the academic year at the Spring Band Concert on Wednesday, April 30, at 6:30 p.m. The event will take place in the Community Room of the Wood Health Sciences Building on the Odessa College campus.
This lively, family-friendly concert will feature a rich and diverse musical program, including patriotic selections, Middle Eastern compositions, movie soundtracks, Scottish dance tunes, and more.
Odessa College’s Assistant Band Director Jon Ortiz and standout student musician Jesse Miller will be featured soloists on special pieces during the concert, showcasing the talent and dedication of the college’s musicians.
As a special highlight, a renowned Texas band director will guest conduct the grand finale, “The Stars and Stripes Forever,” bringing the performance to a rousing close.
The concert will run approximately one hour, and admission is free. This is a great opportunity for the community to support local student musicians and enjoy an evening of exciting, high-quality music.
