Applying for financial aid doesn’t have to be overwhelming. The Odessa College Financial Aid Office is offering free FAFSA Support Sessions throughout the summer to help students and families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with confidence.
Whether you are attending college for the first time, returning to continue your education, or helping a student navigate the process, these workshops provide hands-on assistance from Odessa College financial aid staff.
The sessions will take place from 5:30–7:00 p.m. in the Wrangler Express Center on the following dates:
- May 18
- June 29
- July 13
Assistance in Spanish will be available at all sessions.
Students are encouraged to bring the appropriate tax documents to complete their FAFSA application:
- 2023 taxes for the 2025–2026 school year
- 2024 taxes for the 2026–2027 school year
Completing the FAFSA is one of the most important steps in accessing scholarships, grants, work-study opportunities, and other forms of financial assistance for college. Odessa College staff will be available to answer questions, guide participants through the application process, and help ensure forms are submitted correctly.
“These support sessions are designed to make the financial aid process easier and more accessible for students and families,” said Jessica Gomez, Director of the Odessa College Financial Aid Office. “We want every student to feel supported as they take the next step toward their educational goals.”
No appointment is necessary, and all prospective and current students are welcome to attend.
