Odessa College to Close in Observance of Independence Day and America250 Celebration
Odessa College, the Odessa College Children’s Center, and the college's extension centers in Andrews, Pecos, Monahans, and Seminole will be closed during the holiday. College offices and facilities at these locations will resume normal business operations at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, July 6. The Odessa College Sports Center will observe a modified holiday schedule.
Odessa College Names Permian Basin Native Bryce Waters As Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach
Odessa College announced today the hiring of Bryce Waters as the new permanent Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach, bringing home a familiar face whose journey reflects the college’s commitment to developing talent from the classroom to the course. Beginning in February of 2026, Waters began working with the team as the interim head coach, leading the teams to second and third place wins at the national tournament, including the women’s individual champion.
