Join us for the first annual Odessa College Back to School Expo as we celebrate the beginning of the school year and honor our First Responders and Public Servants. The event will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 16 at Woodson Park, located at 1020 E. Murphy.
The evening's festivities are free and open to the public, and will feature live music, food, fun, and entertaining activities. Bring the whole family - children are welcome.
For anyone interested in a career as a first responder or in a public service, information and demonstrations related to those and other career fields will be available. Expo attendees also will have the opportunity to speak first-hand with those who are currently serving as first responders or in other public service careers.
Odess College representatives also will be on hand to discuss opportunities for new and returning students to take advantage of reskilling grants, scholarships, and financial aid - including how college can be free.
