NJCAA D1 Women's Golf Championship

The Odessa College women’s golf team will play in their first ever NJCAA D1 National Tournament this week at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course in Garden City, KS. The tournament will be comprised of four rounds of golf starting on Tuesday with the opening round and concluding on Friday with the final round.

The Wranglers are one of fifteen teams in this event. Seminole St (FL) is the defending National Champion, the Raiders have won the last three NJCAA Women’s Golf National Tournaments.

Five players will play each day with the top four scores being used as the team score for that day. The lowest total score after four rounds will determine the winner.

The Wranglers will open play Tuesday morning paired with two Florida schools, Seminole St. and Dayton St. College. Bailey Ballou tees off at 9:00am followed by Zara Houghton at 9:09, Rylie Rodriguez will start at 9:18, Claudia Alnajim Revuelta at 9:27, and Ailsa Brannock will be the final tee time for the Wranglers at 9:36am.

Odessa qualified for the national tournament by finishing second at the NJCAA Southwest District Championships.
