2017 High and Dry Exhibition

Odessa College photography students, alumni, and faculty have work accepted in the 2017 High and Dry Exhibition at the International Cultural Center on the campus of Texas Tech University in Lubbock. Greg Davis, National Geographic photographer, based from Austin, Texas, juried the annual national photographic competition and selected 70 photographs from 45 artists. Eight Odessa College photographers and 12 photographs were chosen for the exhibition. Current OC students Brandon Hayse, Shana Molina and Daniela Corrales, had a photograph accepted, Jackie Bracamontes had two works accepted into the show. OC graduate and current Texas State University student Benjamin Powell had a selected work accepted. Julian Mancha, a 2017 OC graduate and current CE Instructor, had three photographs accepted. Faculty members Beckwith Thompson had one work accepted, and Steve Goff had two works for the exhibition. Accepted artists will travel to Lubbock for the December 1 opening reception and gallery talk at the International Cultural Center in Lubbock. Exhibition dates are December 1, 2017, thru January 31, 2018.
