As of September 9, 2017, Odessa College and the University of Texas at Tyler have an articulation agreement set up to provide students in the Career, Technical, and Workforce Education programs an option for transfer. UT Tyler offers a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences Degree (BAAS) students can tailor to their specific needs by taking coursework in subjects such as management, human resources, or health resources. Students who are in programs such as Automotive Technology, Cosmetology, Fire Technology, Office Systems Technology, and many others, can transfer up to 90 hours from the Associate degree to UT Tyler; and because UT Tyler offers the BAAS 100% online, students can stay in Odessa while completing their Bachelor's degree.

The crosswalks below outline the plan of study for coursework beginning at OC and finishing at UT Tyler. Because of the partnership between OC and UT Tyler, you have the ability to complete both your Associate degree and Bachelor's degree in only three years! Or, with the flexibility online classes provide, you can choose when to take courses based on what works best for you and your schedule.
