Location:  Saulsbury Campus Center (Second Floor, Room 222)

Description:  The Joe Zant Community Room is one Odessa College’s multimedia meeting rooms.  The room can be oriented north to south or east to west and has a seating capacity of 224 (chairs only), 208 (26 round tables 8 chairs per table) 144 classroom style (rectangular tables two chairs per table).  Adjoining the Joe Zant Community Room is a full service food station where the college’s food service provider, Great Western Dining can stage and serve full meals, snacks and refreshments.   

Audio/Visual Capabilities: Laptop hook up via HDMI connections to four 50” TVs mounted on the room walls (two on the south wall, one on the west wall, one on the east wall).  The room is equipped with a built-in sound/microphone system, with three handheld or three lavalier microphones - or a combination of the two types for a total of up to three microphones available for simultaneous use.

Room Features:  The Joe Zant Community Room can be divided into two smaller meeting spaces, each with its own audio/visual capabilities.  Natural lighting into the room can be reduced by activating the built-in window screens and the room can be darkened further by lowering the window shades.

Limitations:  Odessa College does not allow this room to be decorated with glitter or confetti, nor does it allow anything to be hung, tacked, or taped to the walls of this room.  In addition all meetings or events that require food, beverages, or snacks must go through Great Western Dining, the sole food service provider for any event held on Odessa College property. For catering information and menu selection please contact Great Western Dining by calling (432) 335-6870.
