Distance Education Right for You?
To
determine if you are ready for an online course, review
this self evaluation checklist.
If
you answer yes to the majority of questions in each area,
you should be ready to take an online course. If you
answered no to the majority of questions in an area,
you may want to work on that set of skills prior to taking
an online course. |

am comfortable using a computer.

provided directions, I can download and install software.

can use a word processing program.

know how to print documents.

know how to save word processing files as a different
file type (e.g. .rtf .html .txt)

I have a problem with a computer, I know where to get
help or I can fix it myself.

own or have access to a computer that meets the minimum
technical requirements needed.
