Please make sure your computer meets the system requirements for blackboard before logging in.

Blackboard Login Instructions for Students:

Student accounts will be active the first day of class for those who enrolled during Early Registration.

All other accounts will not be active until the afternoon after your actual enrollment date, unless otherwise noted by instructor.

1. Go to http://blackboard.odessa.edu
   
2. Click the "Login" button.
   
3. Your username is the initials of your first and last name followed by your college ID without the leading zeros.
   

   Example: If your name is John Doe and your student ID is "0123456" then your username is jd123456

4. Your password is the lower case characters "oc" + the last 4 digits of your Social Security #.

   Example: If your Social Security # is 123-45-6789 then your password is oc6789

5. Click the "Login" button.
   
6. You have completed the login process, your course(s) will be listed in the "My Courses" section at right.
7. If your course is not listed or your login does not work, please contact your instructor.

VCT students (students who are taking a course through another campus) should e-mail their instructor for login information.
