While the cost to attend Odessa College remains lower than other colleges in the area and very affordable, it can still be a challenge to pay for an education.  


FAFSA

Students are encouraged to apply for the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by visiting Federal Student Aid even if you think you won't qualify. The FAFSA helps to award students grants, work-study opportunities, and loan money. Most students at OC receive some kind of aid to help pay for the cost of attending college, even when they thought their income was too high.

Scholarships and Other Financial Aid

OC also offers other financial solutions, in addition to the traditional Financial Aid students may receive, for students that still need a little help paying for college.

  • The "First Course is Free” discount waives standard tuition and fees for the first 3 credit hours taken at Odessa College for high school graduates taking their first class at Odessa College as well as transfer students taking their first class at Odessa College.
  • Scholarships are considered “Free” money that a student will never owe back and they can come from a variety of sources. Odessa College annually awards more than $500,000 in academic scholarships to recognize scholastic merit. For a complete list of scholarships and the scholarship application, click here.
  • Odessa College also offers installment plans that are available to set up online thru Touchnet.
  • The earlier sign up for a plan, the more payment options you will have so don't wait!
