Allied Health
Programs
Students interested in applying for the Radiologic Technology or Physical Therapy Assistant programs at Odessa College must take the HOBET/TEAS V exam as part of the application process.
The exam is computer-based and is offered on a drop-in basis. The exam takes approximately 3-1/2 hours to complete and covers material in the areas of reading, math, science and English. Students must plan to begin this exam no later than 1 pm Monday — Thursday and before 9:00 am on Fridays. (The OC campus is closed on Friday from approximately mid-May to mid-August.)
Examinees must present photo ID and social security card. The testing fee is split into two portions: a $15 proctoring fee payable to OC by check, credit, debit, money order or cash AND a $35 testing fee payable directly to ATI, the owner of HOBET/TEAS V, on the testing website by credit card. Printed results are available to the student at the conclusion of testing and to the Allied Health department on the scoring database. |
