Origin
Created in Fall 2001 by the Faculty Senate of Odessa College.
Mission Statement
Established by the Faculty Senate of Odessa College, the Senate Web Committee is based on the fact that Web instruction forms a significant part of the institution’s curriculum. It recognizes that Web instruction is wholly different than classroom instruction and that Web instructors have unique issues and needs. The Committee provides support and information to Web instructors, and, through the Faculty Senate, communicates Web instructors’ concerns to the administration. Ultimately, the Committee’s mission is to improve the learning experience of Web students at Odessa College.
