COUNSELOR ~ Rios Waddleton

Rios Waddleton came to SSS from Permian High School where he served as assistant principal and prior to that, he was an assistant principal at AIM High School. Rios received his Bachelors in Drama Education from the University of Texas in Austin and is certified in secondary education. He holds a Masters in Educational Counseling and Educational Leadership from Sul Ross University. Rios is married to Kathy and resides in Midland, Texas. They have two step kids and grandchildren. They also have two cats, Frenchie and Argo plus two dogs, Lulu and Oliver. Rios is pursuing his State Professional Counselor License and would like to continue to work in the counseling field to gain experience and later go into a private practice.

ACADEMIC ADVISOR ~ Sagrario Porras

Sagrario Porras is the new SSS Academic Specialist. She served as the Academic Advisor for the Educational Opportunity Center for three years. Sagrario came to Odessa College in 1998 where she started in the Testing Center as a part-time testing clerk and later became one of the administrative assistants. She is married to Paul Porras, the Culinary Arts Instructor. They have three cats, Sebastian, Marc Anthony, and Zoe. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The University of Texas of the Permian Basin.

SECRETARY ~ Stephanie Barrientes Stepanie

Stephanie Barrientes joined the SSS staff December 3, 2007. Stephanie moved to Odessa, Texas in 1995 from Lovington, New Mexico where she was born and raised. She graduated from Permian High School in 1998. She graduated from Odessa College with an Associates degree in Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counseling. She received her Bachelor degree in Sociology from Texas Tech in May 2006. During her time at Odessa College she was active in both Student Government and Student Support Services.
