• Merriam-Webster
  The Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary is based on the print version of Merriam-Webster's Collegiate® Dictionary, Eleventh Edition.
• TechDictionary ™
  Search for thousands of technology terms. Included are; computer, Internet and telecommunications terms, acronyms, emoticons or similes, chat abbreviations, filename extensions, HTML tags, and domain suffixes.

Writing Resources

  The Online Writing Lab (OWL) at Purdue University houses writing resources and instructional material. Here you will find information to assist with many writing projects.

Study Guides and Strategies

• Contains many study tips, and as a bonus, many have been translated to other languages.

Skill Wise Grammar

• A wonderful website from BBC Interactive Factual and Learning featuring handouts, printable practice worksheets, quizzes, and games. Covers apostrophes, adverbs, adjectives, commas, double negatives, subject verb agreement, creating sentences, and joining sentences.
