Media Collection

All media materials, such as video tapes, audio cassettes, filmstrips, and slide/tape programs are located at the Circulation Desk. The online catalog has information on all media titles owned in our LRC. See Media Viewing below for more information.

Media can be checked out of the LRC only by OC faculty. For faculty media booking and equipment setup see Faculty Support.

Media Viewing

Audiovisual materials can enhance your education by providing alternatives to printed materials. Instructors may ask you to view the media, or you may use the audiovisual materials to increase your understanding of classroom topics.
To view the media, take the call number of the item needed to the Circulation Desk. A current OC ID is required to use the media. The LRC has areas equipped with videocassette players and TV's, as well as slide/tape viewers, filmstrip viewers, and audio cassette players.

For students enrolled in Instructional Television (ITV) courses, the videotape series of each of these courses can be viewed in the LRC.
