Approve a Sender in Postini to not be Blocked by Junk Filters

1. If someone is trying to send you an e-mail and you are not receiving from that person't address it may b e beacuse they are being blocked by Odessa College Junk E-mail filtering settings.

2. To add someone to the Approved Senders or "Whitelist" do the following:

3. Go to https://login.postini.com/exec/login

   

4. Type in your e-mail username and password including the domain, i.e. jdoe@odessa.edu and click login.

5. In the next screen on the top right-hand side find the link for Approve Senders and click it.

   

6. Find the Approved Senders box and on a new line type the address of the person's e-mail address you wish to add to the approved senders list. Repeat this for each new address.

   

7. Click Update Approved Senders when all addresses have been input and e-mail from the address(es) entered should be received in the future and not blocked.
