Institutional Effectiveness & Special Projects (IESP)

Mission

The mission of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness & Special Projects (IESP) is to lead the institution in planning and assessment while providing accurate, up-to-date research data.

Purpose

In accordance with our mission, the IESP services are designed to help all areas of the institution become more effective in their day-to-day functions. Thus, the IESP exists for the following purposes:

  • To support the mission, purpose, and philosophy of Odessa College;
  • To assist with the development and maintenance of a comprehensive plan for the College;
  • To design, implement, direct, and modify the assessment system for the College;
  • To initiate and implement research and to compile and interpret institutional data;
  • To serve as the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) liaison; and
  • To assist various areas of the College community with their planning, evaluation, and research needs.

Philosophy

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness & Special Projects is committed to excellence in its services. To insure that this excellence is not compromised, the IESP maintains an impartial role to the entire College community. The IESP approaches all endeavors with the highest of standards and ethics and professionalism.
