All students are invited to
apply for the following Foundation scholarships. All
applicants will be evaluated by these criteria and a list of the final candidates
will be presented to the
Scholarship Committee to be recommended for award approval. Scholarships are awarded based on availability of funds for the academic year.

Must be a graduate of Ector County Independent School District and 2.0 GPA. Award depends on available funds. Award pays tuition, fees, and/or required books. |
| Becker Educators Endowment |
3.0 GPA, enrolled full-time, declared Education major, ECISD graduate, drug testing required and 10 hours of community service in Education.* Award pays tuition, fees and 1/2 of required books as interest funds are available. (Not to exceed $1000). |
| Ben & Ruth Florey Endowment |
Award pays for tuition, fees, and/or required books. Full or part time students. Must complete all courses for the semester. ECISD graduate. Only for students who do not qualify for the Pell Grant. |
| Brandon Borchert Art Endowment |
High school graduate with freshman or sophomore status, Art major, 3.0 GPA, full or part-time, Must complete all courses enrolled. Award is $500 per semester to be used. Candidates will be recommended by Art instructor, Barry Phillips, younger. Award pays tuition, fees, and/or required books. |
| Chevron Instrumentation Scholarship |
Enrolled as Instrumentation major. Minimum GPA 2.5 overall with a GPA of 3.0 in instrumentation courses. Must be approved by the Department Chair. $350 a semester. |
| Chloe Shinn Endowment |
Students must be pursuing an Associated Degree; 3.0 GPA; all courses must be completed during the semester; full or part time; award is $250 per semester. |
| Clara Hazel Freel Endowment |
3.0 GPA, enrolled full or part-time and complete ALL hours during the semester. Award pays tuition, fees and required books as interest funds are available. (Not to exceed $1000). |

Must have a declared major in Science or English (physics majors will receive preference); Must complete a minimum of 9 hours at OC or have instructor's consent; Must be currently enrolled in a course in the required major; 3.0 GPA in the major courses and must have an overall GPA of 3.3 at OC. High school graduate, freshman or sophomore accepted in Nursing program from Iraan. 3.0 GPA, full-time status, 12 hours must be completed each semester, $1,000 per semester to 2 students as funds are available. Must complete 15 hours of Community Service in Iraan and or Sheffield Health Facilities (Iraan hospital district).* Award pays tuition, fees, and/or required books. |

ECISD graduates, 2.5 GPA, can be part or full-time, must complete ALL hours enrolled during the semester. Award depends on enrollment status: 6-8 hours = $500; 9-11 hours = $600; 12+ = $700. 10 hours of community service will be required for the semester awarded, anything on the Texas Scholars list will be accepted. |

3.0 GPA, enroll and complete 12 hours per semester. Award pays tuition, fees and/or required books up to $1000. |
| Half-Century Endowment |
3.0 GPA, enrolled full or part-time and complete ALL hours during the semester. Award depends on enrollment status:
6 - 8 hours=$500; 9 - 11 hours=$600; 12+ hours=$700.
Award pays for tuition, fees and required books up to designated amounts.

Full or part-time students accepted into health science fields. 2.7 GPA. Award depends on enrollment status: 6-8 hrs. = $500, 9-11 hrs. = $600, 12 + hrs. = $700.

Awarded to music students, full or part time, 3.0 GPA, the music director will recommend recipients to the committee for selection. Award will be $500 per semester as funds are available. Award pays tuition, fees, and/or required books. |

Recipients must not be receiving state or federal aid. 3.0 GPA, enrolled full or part-time. ECISD graduate, 13 hours of community service is required in a Rotary Club.* Award pays tuition and fees as interest funds are available. (Not to exceed $1000). |

Sophomore who has completed at least 30 hours, be an athlete in Men/Women's Basketball and or Golf, 3.0 GPA, 1st generation student. Award pays $800 per semester as funds are available. |

| Memorial Scholarship Endowment |

Full time student in pursuit of an Associate’s degree and must maintain a 3.0 GPA. Award depends on available funds. Award pays tuition, fees and required books. (Not to exceed $1,000) |
| Mexican- American Scholarship Endowment |
High School Graduate or Non-traditional students; 2.25 GPA must be maintained for the duration of the award; Class attendance and GPA eligibility must be maintained and courses must be completed during each semester of the award; Full or part time student. |
| Mr. & Mrs. Louis Rochester Endowment |
Graduate of Permian or Odessa High, Career Center in Ector County or graduate of the OC service area, 3.0 GPA, full or part-time, Award pays $500 per semester as funds are available. Award pays for tuition, fees, and /or required books. |
| Odessa Rotary Millennium Endowment |
3.0 GPA, enrolled full or part-time, service
area graduate, 6 hours community service in the Odessa Rotary
Club and can be combined with outside community
service.* Outside community service must be approved beforehand by the club president. Anything on the Texas
Scholars list will be acceptable. Award pays $750 per semester for tuition, fees and/or required books.

| Student Success Scholarships |
2.7 GPA, enrolled full or part-time and complete ALL hours during the semester. Award depends on enrollment status:
6 - 8 hours=$700; 9 - 11 hours=$800; 12+ hours=$900.
10 hours of Community Service is required for this scholarship and must be completed at an approved Agency* before the semester ends to maintain eligibility. Award pays for tuition, fees and required books up to designated amounts.

High school graduate or non-traditional student wanting an Associate's degree in Education; 3.0 GPA which must be maintained for the duration of the award; Courses must be completed during the each semester of the award; Full or part time status per semester. $500 per semester. |
