All students are invited to apply for the following Foundation scholarships. All applicants will be evaluated by these criteria and a list of the final candidates will be prepared by the Scholarship Committee to be recommended for award approval.

Applications must be submitted before semester deadlines.

Clara Hazel Freel	3.0 GPA, Enrolled full- or part-time. Award pays tuition, fees & required books up to $1,000.00.
Jack & Ruth Rodgers Endowment	3.0 GPA, Enrolled full- or part-time. ECISD graduate, 13 hours of community service is required in the Rotary Club. Award pays tuition, fees & required books up to $1,000.00.
Becker Educators Endowment	3.0 GPA, Enrolled full-time, declared Education major, ECISD graduate, drug testing required, 13 hours of community volunteerism required. Award pays for tuition, fees , and 1/2 of books not to exceed $1000.00.
H.L. Mangrum	3.0 GPA, Enroll and complete 12 hours per semester. Award pays tuition, fees, and/or books up to $500.
Half-Century	3.0 GPA, Enrolled full- or part-time. All hours enrolled must be completed during semester. Award depends on enrollment status: 12+ hours=$500; 9 - 11 hours=$450; 6 - 8 hours=$350. Award pays for tuition, fees and books up to designated amounts.
Odessa Rotary Scholarship	3.0 GPA, Enrolled full/part time. Service area graduate, 13 hours community serviced in Odessa Rotary. Award pays tuition, fees, and/or books up to $500.
Dollars-for-Scholars	2.7 GPA. Award depends on enrollment status: 6 - 8 hours=$500; 9 - 11 hours=$600; 12+ hours=$700. 10 hours community service required per semester for full and part time students. Award pays for tuition, fees and books up to designated amounts. [No other financial assistance can accompany this award]

I realize that it is my responsibility to complete the entire process in time to be awarded the scholarship. I agree to the revision or forfeit of the amount of any endowment scholarship if the total amount of my financial assistance from other sources exceeds $1,000 for the semester. I also authorize the Odessa College Foundation to release this application along with my transcript to the Scholarship Committee for consideration and/or selection. All credit balances will be returned to the Foundation. If I become eligible for Federal or State financial assistance such as Pell or WIA, I consent to forfeit the Foundation Scholarship.
