Recipients
Required
Community Service Hours
The Odessa College Foundation is requiring that all recipients complete 10 to 13 hours of community service per semester in order to receive or remain eligible for certain scholarships.
If these hours are not completed before the end of the semester in which the scholarship was received, then the recipient will not be eligible to receive a scholarship the following semester. This applies to both full and part-time students.
A list of approved Community Service Agencies can be found listed below. Students will need to choose an organization and print out the accompanying time sheet.
It is the responsibility of the student to complete the hours and get the Agency to sign his/her time sheet in order to receive full credit for service hours worked.
By accepting the scholarship you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the scholarship which may include 10 to 13 hours of Community Service. If you know already that you will be unable to commit to these hours of community service, please contact the Foundation Office, SUB 107 @ 432/335-6648 or 432/335-6665. |
