Duties: General maintenance of grounds

Registrar's Office Office Work 20/week  WS

Duties: Various office work.

Children's Center Substitute Teachers 20/week  WS

Duties: Working with children.

Requirements: Willing to obtain CPR certification, obtain a background check, sign up for FBI fingerprinting, have a current TB test, obtain 8 hour pre-service training for childcare.

Cashier's Office Student Assistant 20/week  WS

DutiesFiling, answering incoming calls, make ID cards, general office duties, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements Must be dependable and know how to file in alphabetical and numerical order

Hours are flexible according to student's schedule.

Upward Bound Student/ Office Assistant 20/week  WS

Duties: Provide assistance to staff and students, office duties, answer telephones, serve as tutor to students in program, filing, occasional Saturday hours, and other various duties as assigned. 

Requirements: Knowledge of basic computer skills, team-player, responsible and dependable.

Children's Center Student Worker 20/week  WS

Duties: Working with children, cleaning, office work, other duties as assigned.

Requirements: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm (Will work with class schedule) Must obtain CPR certification, FBI fingerprinting, attend 8 hour pre-service training for child care, and attend orientation.

Sports Center Student Assistant 20/week  WS

Duties: Various duties as assigned.

RequirementsVarious hours from 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

OC Math Lab Tutor 19/week  WS/NWS

Duties: Tutor remedial and upper level Mathematics

Requirements: Maintain a 3.0 GPA.  Need to have at least completed Trigonometry.  Knowledgeable in OC math courses.

Central Services Student Worker 20/week WS

Duties: Perform some printing functions such as hole punch, binding, learning to operate the Cannon Large Copier, sort mail.

Requirements:  Ability to lift 25 pounds.  Stock paper and supplies.  Varied hours.  Will work around schedule between 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Purchasing & Accounts Payable Student Worker 20/week WS

Duties: Scan document, filing, answering phones, assist with shipping & receiving duties, various clerical duties.

Requirements:  Varied hours. Will work around schedule between 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Children's Center Student Worker 20/week WS

Duties: Work with children in the classroom, run errands around campus, wash dishes (when needed), cleaning, office work, and other duties as assigned, etc.

Requirements: Must obtain the following: CPR/First Aide Certification, 8 hour pre-service child care training, pass a background check, be FBI fingerprinted, be free of active Tuberculosis, read the Minimum Standards for Childcare Manual, and be orientated for the position.

Ronald McDonald House Student Worker 20/week WS

Duties: Greet families, bake cookies, answer phones, restock supplies, clean family room, check families in/out for naps, check families in/out for overnight, computer work, and complete daily volunteer task list as well as task list compiled by Program Coordinator.

Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age.  Scheduled 7 days a week from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. in the Family Room at Medical Center Hospital

PC Services Student Worker 20/week WS

Duties: Working with computers and software and or secretarial.  Organize PC Services storage, wiping PC of old software, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Need to know about PC's and software - MUST BE RELIABLE.

Campus Activities and Intramurals Student Worker 20/week WS/NWS

Duties: Help put up and remove Campus Activity Flyers, help around the office as needed, and help with Student Activities and Intramurals.

Requirements: Other duties as assigned.

Wi-Fi Cafe Student Worker 20/week WS/NWS

Duties: Greet and serve customers with a positive attitude; maintain a clean working environment; prepare and serve various drinks for customers; re-stock and replenish drinks, snack, and other products as needed; lift up to 10lbs. at a time; operate coffee machine, cappuccino machine, cash register and other machines as needed; carry yourself in a professional and timely manner; and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Must be enrolled in classes at Odessa College while working.

Century Commons Office Assistant 20/week WS

Duties: Monitor visitation registration, monitor resident scanning system, enforce housing policies, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements: At least a high school graduate, reliable, dependant, responsible, self-motivated, flexible, have dependable transportation, isn't offended easily

Hours are Midnight to 8:00 am Monday through Sunday.

Student Success Center Math Tutors 19/week NWS/WS

Duties: Provide individual and small group tutoring, in a specific academic discipline; to students in the Student Success Center unless other arrangements are approved. Assist students in improving academic achievement by meeting with them on a regular basis to clarify learning problems and work on study skills. Tutors are also mentors and must set a good example for students.

Requirements: An A or B grade in the course(s) to be tutored; 3.0 GPA or higher; Responsible, dependable, honest, and mature; and Friendly, patient, and sensitive to a diversity of students.

Financial Aid Student Worker 19/week WS

Duties: Filing, answering incoming calls & student questions at the front counter, must have have Microsoft Word & Excel experience and other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Must be dependable and have good people skills. There will be a background check.

Hours are flexible according to student's class schedule.

Century Commons Front Desk Assistant (2) 20/week WS

Duties: Monitor visitation registration, monitor resident scanning system, enforce housing policies, and other duties as assigned.

Hours are Mondays 5pm-8pm; Tuesdays 9am-2pm and 1am-8am; Wednesdays 5pm-10pm; Thursdays 9am-2pm and 2pm-5:30pm; and Fridays 1pm-6pm

Position starts as soon as possible.

Human Resources Student Worker 20/week WS

Duties: General office duties such as heavy filing, answering phones, etc. Duties will also include covering the Information Desk at lunch times and various duties as assigned. 

Requirements: Must maintain a GPA of 2.0, hard-working, must be courteous and welcoming, must be able to work as a part of a team.

Hours are flexible according to class schedule.
