Biographical Background:
Dr.
Beverly Forsyth's work appears in a variety of scholarly and commercial
publications including English in Texas,
The South Carolina Review,
Studies in the Novel,
Research and Reflections,
Cosmopolitan, USA Today,
The Dallas Morning News,
Texas
Business, and
The Texas Monthly Guidebook to Texas (3rd edition).
Her short fiction regularly appears in
New Texas. She
has chaired for various professional organizations including the South
Central Modern Language Association, the Southwest/Texas Popular Culture, and the Conference of College Teachers of
English. In May 2002, Dr. Forsyth
received the Outstanding Faculty Award for the humanities, presented by the
Odessa College Faculty Senate. Her biography appears in

Who in America and
Who's Who Among American Teachers.
