Becky Hand

Becky Hand has been teaching biology classes at OC since 1994.  Prior to that she was a laboratory technician for an infertility clinic in Dallas and taught at Collin County Community College in Plano, Texas.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from Tarleton State University (1988) and a master’s from Texas Tech (1992.)  She served as Biology Department chair for 10 years.  Currently she is teaching Medical Terminology, General Biology and Microbiology.

Outside of life on campus, Ms. Hand serves on the UTPB Health Professions Advisory Committee, Board of Directors for the SandHills Rodeo along with volunteering at the Permian Basin Fair and at her church.
