do I have to enter my login twice to get into Blackboard?A
user has to log in twice if they access the login page
directly, without going through the gateway page. User
receives the message: "Challenge Token null". When a
user bypasses the Gateway page, a session is not created
to the database and it results in the issue that users
are seeing where they have to login twice. To avoid from
login in twice always access Blackboard from http://blackboard.odessa.edu/.
Why do I have to enter my login twice to get into
Blackboard?
Blackboard stores a cookie in your browser to validate
your session. If you bypass the main login screen (without
the blanks) and try to log in you will have to reenter
your information. To avoid this either bookmark
or access Blackboard from http://blackboard.odessa.edu/.
What if I forgot my password?
Go to http://blackboard.odessa.edu/webapps/blackboard/password.
If you are still unable to retrieve your password email ocglobalhelp@odessa.edu
to request a new password. Please include your full name,
course in which you are enrolled, phone number and email
address in the email message.
